Description: The LID was established in 2003 per Resolution No. 2003-112 and 2003-113 for the purpose of creating a funding mechanism for the wastewater processing system that replaced the individual septic systems that serve properties in Eldorado Springs. The LID also allows for additional wastewater service capacity in the Eldorado Springs townsite. The area included in the district includes the Eldorado Springs platted townsite area including the amended plat of Moffat Lakes, amended plat of First Addition to Moffat Lakes, amended plat of Second Addition to Moffat Lakes, and amended Plat of Barbers Addition to Moffat Lakes, with the following exceptions: 1. All vacant land listed on the Boulder County Assessor's records; 2. 35 Eldorado Springs Dr., Lot 7 and 8, Block 14 Moffat Lakes 2; and Public Service Company of Colorado. The boundaries do not include Eldorado Springs Canyon State Park or Valle del Rio subdivision or any properties east of 3450 and 3461 Eldorado Springs Dr. There are approximately 115 dwellings and other occupied buildings within the district boundaries.
