Description: Areas identified by Boulder County POS, BLM, and Wright Water Engineers to be aerial mulched in Spring 2012. These areas were identified based on field observations from scientists and topographic features. Basins 5, 7, and14 were first identified by POS and BLM on 9/23/2011. Basins 0 and 25 were added by Wright Water Engineers on 10/18/2011. Basin 25 was later removed by Claire DeLeo in POS on 1/12/12. This is the third and final iteration. These are the final proposed areas. To calculate the surface acreage (volume), the following processing steps were done: 1. Clip 10 meter USGS DEM to polygons 2. Convert clipped DEM to TIN using 3D analyst 3. Interpolate Polygon to Multipatch Using 3D analyst 4. The Area field in the multipatch file and the Area field in the polygon were the same. This is how to test the accuracey of the interpolation. 5. Divided the new surface area field by 43560 and added the Acres_3D field to the attribute table.
