Description: The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has an Emergency Watershed Protection Program, which granted funds to assist property owners in Colorado, in recovery efforts from the 2013 flood. The NRCS selected the properties and designed improvements (bank stabilization, creek realignment) to mitigate further damage and protect properties from a 25-year storm event. Boulder County hired contractors and managed the work. The Boulder County properties receiving funds, naturally fall into 10 geographic/watershed groups for procurement/contracting purposes. This dataset contains 10 polygons, each one a loosely drawn boundary around one of the groups of properties.
