This data supercedes all other flood data.Per FEMA: Data included on this CD-ROM represents Final Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) data that has been published as effective FIRM or DFIRM information. The data are the official and legal representation of the effective flood zones.Further edits include two LOMRs dated after 12/18/12.Boulder County added a field, "Regulating Entity" to distinguish this from Boulder County regulatory floodplain.

Description: Following the 2013 flood, the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) initiated a program to re-map the predicted 1% chance regulatory floodplain (100-year flood zone) of the most affected waterways. The program was named the "Colorado Hazard Mapping Program" or "CHAMP." This has been adopted by the Boulder County Commissioners, and will be used for regulatory decisions by the county. Not necessarily used for determining flood insurance.

Description: This metadata describes the 2012 digital orthoimagery covering the 10 county DRCOG project area (Denver Metro (A1), Eastern Plains (A2), Mountains (A3), Weld County (A4)). This 1"=100' scale imagery is comprised of 4-band RGBIR color orthoimagery with a GSD (Ground Sample Distance) of 0.5' (A1 and A4) and 1.0' (A2 and A3). Imagery was collected with the Leica ADS40 digital sensor and processed with Leica GPro software. Imagery is projected in State Plane Coordinate System, Colorado north zone using the Lambert Conformal Conic map projection parameters. Horizontal and vertical datums are NAD83(HARN) and NAVD88(GEOID09) respectively.
